Baguio City
March, 1995

"The City of Pines"
"Summer Capital of the Philippines"

Baguio City is located in the northern part of the country, in the province of Benguet. At 5,000 feet above sea level, it is the highest city in the Philippines, and thus, the climate is cooler. People flock to the city especially during the summer months (April and May) to escape the sweltering heat in the lowlands.
