Baguio City is located in the northern part of the country, in the province
of Benguet. At 5,000 feet above sea level, it is the highest city in the Philippines,
and thus, the climate is cooler. People flock to the city especially during the
summer months (April and May) to escape the sweltering heat in the lowlands.
